Dr. Bernadette Barton presents her latest book, “Pray the Gay Away: The Extraordinary Lives of Bible Belt Gays.” This public lecture and multimedia presentation by sociologist Dr. Bernadette Barton will illustrate the effects of religious-based homophobia on individual lives.

As a t-shirt display to honor and empower victims of violence, shirts are hung around campus with messages from those affected by violence. All shirts hung on campus represent Georgia Southern students impacted by violence against them, family, peers or friends.
Backcountry Cooking Clinic

Tuesday, February 25 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Learn how to prepare hot meals in a backcountry setting with Southern Adventures! In this clinic, you’ll learn how to properly use an MSR WhisperLite stove and prepare delicious food with simple ingredients for your next outdoor adventure.
