Everyone loves Starbucks and if you don’t, you should start. There’s a little something for everyone in this sacred little haven – whether you’re a caffeine junkie, sugar addict, or more of a coffee-for-show kind of person. But have you ever stopped to think that your drink order might say more about you than it does of it?
Like dogs who look like their owners, here’s the definitive list of what your Starbucks drink says about you.
Caramel Macchiato: The Easy-goer
It’s coffee but with flavor. Perfect for every occasion. Sip it in the summertime, wintertime, on the way to class, work, a date, whatever. It’s the drink choice that never goes out of style.
White Chocolate Mocha: The Sweetheart
Sometimes a caffeine fix isn’t enough and you need a sugar one as well. This drink is the perfect remedy to both and a great little pick-me-up during the day. Who says you can’t have your treat and drink it too?
Iced Coffee: The Down to Business
You’ve got sh*t to do and you don’t have time to wait around for a latte to be whipped up. All you need is some coffee poured over ice, because you also don’t have time to wait for your coffee to cool down. You only have a select amount of time to chug your caffeine before you tackle your color coded to-do list.
Americano: The World Traveler
You probably studied abroad at one point or another and it probably made you a little or a lot more pretentious. However, you can’t quite shake your American roots. This is the perfect compromise to sip on while you remind your roommates how the coffee in Europe is just so much better (but of course you still missed them like crazy.)
Frappucino: The Person Who Actually Doesn’t Like Coffee
We’re not judging you. Sometimes frappucinos are the perfect sweet treats to get your through the day. Plus, you get to envision yourself as your favorite reality TV star while you drink it. It’s a win-win.
Green Tea: The Yoga Instructor
You pay attention to what your body needs. Obviously everything you put into it has to be as good for your taste buds as it is for the rest of your body. Give them some love too.
Black Coffee: The Snob
At this point, coffee is more of a lifeline to you than an enjoyable beverage. Anything with cream, sugar or milk can’t be “real coffee.” It’s just gets in the way of the good stuff.
Hot Chocolate: The Child at Heart
You like to reminisce on the simpler times in life—like snow days and Christmas movies. Although Mom’s not always around to make her perfect cup, this’ll do just fine to bring back those warm, fuzzy feelings.
