Avengers: Endgame

Marvel once again shattered box office records, grossing over one trillion dollars opening weekend worldwide, according to IMDb. “Avengers: Endgame” picked up where “Avengers: Infinity War” left off, and it shows the Avengers’ determination to go back in time and save the world from the suffering caused by the hands of main antagonist Thanos.
“It does justice to an ending that’s 22 movies in the making,” film critic Brian Lloyd said in his review on entertainment.ie.
If you missed out on what many people consider the biggest movie of the year, don’t worry. All Marvel movies will be available on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, set to launch in the US on Nov. 12.
Men In Black: International

While this movie did not hold up well in critic reviews, many fans enjoyed this fresh new take on the Men in Black saga. With big names like Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth, this fresh twist on a well established franchise is the perfect addition to your watchlist.
Aladdin

Harsh critic reviews seem to be a trend for live action remakes of classic movies, and Aladdin was no exception. The movie received a critic score of 57% on Rotten Tomatoes; however- the movie did earn an impressive audience score of 94%. With Will Smith as Genie, this film is guaranteed to elicit laughs and bring Disney fans everywhere the chance to relive a little bit of their childhood.

This much anticipated live action version of a childhood classic did not disappoint fans. Critics, however, were a different story. Earning only a 53% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, many critics felt that the movie didn’t properly encapsulate the spirit of the original.
“Despite the superstar talent of the cast … and the stunning presentation, it misses some of the heart that placed the original securely in the pop culture canon,” film critic Ashlie D. Stevens wrote in the article “‘The Lion King,’ beautiful and bland: With nostalgia upgrades, there’s always a cost.”
Love it or hate it, this remake of a childhood movie is worth watching for the nostalgia alone.
Blinded By The Light

From the same mind that brought us “Bend It Like Beckham,” director Gurinder Chada brings to life the story of Pakistani youth Javed who navigates tumultuous happenings in his British town, using his poetry as an escape. Once introduced to the music of rock legend Bruce Springsteen, Javed is inspired by the similarity between Springsteen’s lyrics and his own average life.
Though it’s set in 1987, this movie tackles issues that are increasingly relevant today. This is a film you don’t want to miss!
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

As far a Tarantino movies go, this one was pretty tame. Set in 1969 the story of actor Rick Dalton, who is well past his glory days, and his stunt double Cliff.
This movie has it all: humor, thrill and a surprise visit from members of the Manson cult. While the beginning of this movie is a bit slow, the action packed ending scenes will leave die-hard Tarantino fans happy.
History buffs and action lovers alike should not miss out on this star studded cast and compelling storyline.
