If you haven’t started your own Friendsgiving tradition in college, you may want to get a new friend group. There’s nothing better to fill your heart with than a night of food, booze, and your closest pals. If you’ve been assigned dessert duty for the party, then consider these three indulgent options: From an easy slow cooker recipe to an intricate cheesecake for those who are trying to show off their baking skills.
Slow-Cooker Mixed Berry Cobbler

Ingredients
(for 8 servings)
- 1 cup raspberry
- 1 cup blueberry
- 1 cup strawberry
- 1 cup blackberry
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 8 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
Preparation
- Add raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle cornstarch on top and mix gently.
- Pour cake mix on top of the berries and spread out so it covers the berries.
- Place pieces of butter on top of the cake mix and cover.
- Cook on high for 2½ to 3 hours, until the cake is fully cooked.
- Serve, topped with ice cream

Apple Pie Bread Pudding

Ingredients
(for 4 servings)
- 6 slices bread
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 3 granny smith apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- vanilla ice cream
- caramel sauce
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the bread into ½ inch (1 cm) cubes.
- In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon, stirring until smooth.
- Add the bread and stir until the bread cubes have evenly absorbed the milk mixture.
- Spread the bread evenly in a 9-inch (23cm) round baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the apples, brown sugar, and cornstarch, mixing until evenly combined.
- Spread the apples evenly on top of the bread.
- Bake for 40 minutes, until edges are brown.
- Cool, slice, then serve with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce!

Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients
(for 6 slices)
Pumpkin Mix
- ¾ lb pumpkin, chopped
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Cheesecake Mix
- 13 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup double cream
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ginger
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon
- 2 eggs
Chocolate Biscuit Base
- 2 ½ cups chocolate biscuit
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Cream Topping
- 1 cup double cream, whipped
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Prepare the pumpkin by cutting it into bite-size chunks and placing it in a baking tin with the butter and sugar.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until soft. Turn down the oven to 350°F and leave the pumpkin to cool.
- Blend the chocolate biscuits in a processor to form fine crumbs. Stir in the butter.
- Pour the biscuit base into a nonstick springform tin and set it aside.
- Mix together the pumpkin, cream cheese, sugar, double cream, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir in the eggs.
- Pour over the biscuit base.
- Bake in the oven for 1 hour. Leave to cool.
- Spread over the whipped cream and sprinkle on the cocoa powder on top.
