This is not an April Fools’ joke. There are three, yes three, concerts happening in Statesboro tomorrow! The Southpaw Band, a local country-rock band, will be playing at Millhouse starting at 9 p.m.
Solo country artist Daniel Navarro will play his first show with a full band at Gnat’s Landing. Navarro and his band will start playing at 9 p.m.
Finally, The Steppin Stones are coming to Statesboro! This band from Charleston, SC, will bring their soulful rock music to Dingus Magee’s. The concert starts at 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 2
BYOG will be playing Dingus Magee’s this weekend! BYOG’s music is a combination of funk, a 70’s sound, and southern rock. This Charleston, SC, band will be starting their set at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Dingus.
Thursday, April 7
Miami, FL, band The Norm will be coming to town a week from today! This band has a hip-hop sound meshed with pop-rock. The Norm will play at Dingus Magee’s, starting at 9:30 p.m.
Friday, April 8
Voodoo Visionary is bringing their funky sound to Dingus Magee’s! The band is an improv funk outfit from Atlanta. Voodoo Visionary will start playing at 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 9
New York band Reckless Serenade will be travelling to Statesboro’s Foghouse Vapors to play with locals The Flats and Any Otherwise next Saturday! Reckless Serenade’s music has an edgy, pop-punk sound, while The Flats’ music is bluesy rock and Any Otherwise’s music is indie punk. Foghouse Vapors is located at 3349 Northside Dr. West, and the show starts at 7 p.m.
Reckless Serenade will also be playing Vans Warped Tour this summer.
