What Valentine’s Day is known for is the sweet nothings people say and the gifts one receives. Most of the gifts you will receive will also come with cards, and it always means more when the card is handmade.
To make a handmade card there are certain things you will need if you want it to look professionally made (or at least something someone would wanna keep on their wall).
First off, you will need to understand your design so that you can buy the proper materials. For a simple card you will need:
- Cardstock
- Envelopes
- Scissors
- Markers (Colored and black to outline)
- Foam tape
- Glue
- Scrapbooking paper
- Ruler
- A general idea of the direction you want to go in.
To start you will need to figure out what you want to do and the relationship that you’re going to be focusing on. If it’s a relationship with your boss, your sorority sister, your best friend or your significant other, there are appropriate things to say for each relationship, so try to figure out what you’re going to say before you start. Here are examples for each relationship. Feel free to watch the video and then refer below for help if you don’t understand what’s happening in the video.

Use these ideas, or figure something else out for yourself, but if you ever need help, the video will always be here. Hopefully, your significant other or whomever will love your card. Be proud! You did it!
