Editor-in-Chief
Jeff Licciardello
Jeff is a sophomore multimedia journalism major from Kennesaw, Ga. He spends some of his days swaying to Lana Del Rey in the pale moonlight and spends the rest of them working to fuel his extremely absurd coffee addiction. He is the Editor-in-Chief. You can find him whining about the cloudy future on Twitter @jeff_licciard.
Reflector Editors
Peyton Callanan
Peyton is a super senior communication arts major, who has an occasional desire to write, but only as long as it doesn’t interfere with her binge watching that tv show she knows got canceled after only one season. Depending on when you ask her, she was either raised in a barn or in front of the television. She can often be found taking selfies with ponies, pretending she actually enjoys running, and kicking ass in trivia, but only if the categories are sitcoms or 90’s one hit wonders. She is the editor for the print edition of Reflector Magazine. You can catch her providing vital information for your everyday life at @PG_Callanan.
Alexandra McCray
Alexandra is a senior journalism major that spends an unhealthy amount of time on Pinterest, believes everyday whether good or bad should end with a glass of wine, knew it was love when the first words she uttered to her boyfriend were “no I’m not really 16,” takes way too many Snapchats of her cat in his bow tie collar, would only communicate via gifs if possible (specifically ones relating to the Kardashians), can lick her elbow, and likes to write…sometimes. She is the ReflectorGSU.com Editor. You can follow her on twitter and Instagram at @alxmccray.
Contributing Staff
Tayler Critchlow
Tayler is a junior multimedia journalism major at the good old GS of U. Remaining organized in everything except her actual life, Tayler still has no clue what to make of life post-college. Like most typical college students, Tayler enjoys catching up on her latest Netflix obsession and procrastinating to the point of unhealthy. When not in the office or in class, she can either be found namaste-ing it out during a yoga session or throwing heavy weights around in the RAC. Along with her dry humor and nerdy outlook, Tayler brings a foreign outlook to the office hailing from the snowy lands of Canada. She is the Special Publications Editor. For questions, comments, or concerns follow her @TaylerCritchlow.
Skyler Black
Skyler is a junior Writing and Linguistics major with a minor in Film Studies and the editor of the Miscellany. You can normally find him asleep in the corner of the Magnolia Publications office, staring into a book that’s older than dirt, or wandering around the GSU campus jamming to various artists of the indie and techno persuasion. Challenge him to trivia crack and prepare to be destroyed. His puniness is apparent from his glorious twitter @sblack112.
Kathryn Lewallen
Kathryn is a sophomore journalism major from Savannah, GA. She enjoys feeling pretentious about her taste in music, TV, movies, etc. Her self deprecating humor sometimes worries people. Kat, as her friends call her, is currently the Entertainment Reporter. You can see her struggle to fit her thoughts in < 140 characters at @thekathryn974.
Donna Jones
Donna is a junior studying the ins and outs of Journalism at THE Georgia Southern University. When not typing on a keyboard, she spends her time snap chatting, playing Call of Duty, and purchasing unnecessary items on Amazon Prime. Occasionally, when time allows, she likes to put her feet up and read the latest celebrity gossip. Donna is the Life & Style Reporter. Follow her @donnamjoness to find out what she eats for breakfast.
Yasmeen Waliaga
Yasmeen is a sophomore Journalism major from Alpharetta, Georgia. She spends her days searching forgotten bands, creating playlists, watching horror films, and impulsively purchasing funky platforms. With the assistance of cheap champagne and markers, she writes to share her thoughts no matter how obscure or inappropriate. She is the Cuisine & Culture Reporter.
Cabrianna Johnson
Cabrianna is a freshman here at Georgia Southern University. Her undying love for Showtunes and 80’s music creates the tone for her to sing on the top of her lungs off key in the mirror, if she’s feeling daring..she might even lip sing. What’s louder than her singing that will also make you cringe? Her laughter. So baring and unique that it was a topic of discussion on Yik Yak a couple of times…yeah, just ask her for more details. Being undeclared gives her ambition to constantly try and learn new things to becoming rich. Maybe. Feel free to donate to the “give me money, please.” fund by contacting @Cabby_GSU (not really though). Cabrianna is the Health & Fitness Reporter.
Brianna Quarterman
Brianna is a senior journalism major who hails from Savannah, Georgia and is currently spending the best four years of her life at Georgia Southern University. She spends her free time window shopping online, giving ingenious advice, and reminding herself to always remain fabulous. She is the Features Reporter. When she is not writing amazing stories, Brianna can be found pinning spectacular fashion boards on Pinterest.
